SANDRA
BATTAGLINI

Sandra Battaglini is an award winning stand-up comic, actor and writer. She is a two time Canadian Comedy Award winner for her solo show shows, 'Classy Lady' and 'Hard Headed Woman'. She tours the country and appears in NBC Seeso's flagship web series, The Amazing Gayle Pile, CBS's In the Dark and Netflix's In the Shadow of the Moon and CBC's Communist's Daughter. She was a semi-finalist in the She Devil Comedy Competition in NYC and and premiered her 7th solo show 'Baby Jeez and other Abreevs' in Toronto. She released her first comedy special 'Take it Ease' in 2022 streaming on Amazon in the UK and the US. She spearheaded a grassroots movement to have stand-up comedy recognized as an art form and started the Canadian Association of Stand-up Comedians that lobbies for comedian's rights.

IAN GORDON

Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Ian has performed at the The Toronto Comedy Festival, Big Sound Comedy Festival and as part of JFL42 in Toronto. He has been featured on SiriusXM Radio’s Canada Laughs, and is back for a second time at Icebreakers Comedy Festival. His debut album will be available through Comedy Records in mid 2024.

Trinidadian-born, Canadian raised comedian Jean Paul has always had an innate sense of humour. Jean has traveled extensively across Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean, South Africa and the U.K., performing at such legendary venues as the Apollo in New York, the Comedy Store in London, and at Place des Arts in Montreal. No stranger to the festival circuit, Jean has performed at Just For Laughs, Halifax and Winnipeg Comedy Festivals and among other credits has written for and toured with Russell Peters. Currently he can be seen as a morning segment correspondent on CityTV’s Breakfast TV. Jean has also been nominated for several prestigious awards, including the Tim Sims’ Award for up-and-coming comedians, and a Gemini Award for Best Writing in a Comedy Series.

After appearances at the Just For Laughs Festival and a breakout viral video from Winnipeg Comedy Festival in 2018, (over 2.1M views on YouTube and 10M on Facebook), Rob Bebenek has asserted himself as one of the best and brightest new voices to come out of Canada.

Quick wit and a keen eye for observation, highlight a comedy skill set that is becoming a force on stages as a touring headliner across North America. Bebenek asserted himself as a major player in comedy and has since imposed his brand on theatres, clubs, festivals and can be heard on CBC Radio’s iconic Laugh Out Loud and was a finalist in SiriusXM’s Top Comic competition. From Kitchener Ontario, Bebenek, aka Ol’ Bebsie, has been drawing acclaim across Canada earning himself appearances on MTV and opening concert series for Bob Saget, Burt Kreischer, Charlie Murphy, Steve-O, and Gerry Dee, to name a few. His 2022 TV appearance on the Marc Maron JFL Gala aired on CBC and his highly praised debut comedy album, “Everything Is Fine” can be found on all streaming platforms.
